Royal Canin Mini Puppy Dog Food

Royal Canin Mini Puppy was created specifically for the complex nutritional demands of a developing mini breed (1-10kg) puppy once it reaches 2 months of age. Small dogs grow particularly quickly during their first 10 months of life, and to support this growth in a healthy fashion they need exact quantities of protein and carbohydrates. Mini breed puppies can become 20 times as heavy as their initial puppy weight during this rapid growth phase. In order for them to reach a healthy old age of 13-16, it is vital that they receive the correct food during puppyhood.

Royal Canin Mini Puppy uses highly digestible proteins (L.I.P) of the highest quality that guarantee a protein digestibility of minimum 95%.

Royal Canin Mini Puppy:

-Bone and muscle building: occurs during the first 10 months, and this growth means the puppy’s energy requirements per kg bodyweight are 1.6 times those of fully grown dogs. In order to
avoid overly fast weight gain, however, the calorie supply must be adjusted.
-Maximum palatability: meticulously chosen nutrients and natural flavours increase the acceptance rate amongst even the fussiest of puppies.
-Maximum digestive safety: a puppy’s digestive capacity develops slowly, and their digestive systems are very sensitive in their first few months of life. This mean some nutrients, for
example starch, have only a limited digestibility. Therefore, it is important to feed your puppy a balanced diet containing highly digestible protein, fructo-oligo-saccharides and fish oil
in order to optimise digestion and nutrient conversion.
-Supports the immune system: a synergistic complex of antioxidants (taurine, lutein, vitamins C and E) fortify the body’s defense mechanisms. Intestinal defences are boosted by mannan-
oligo-saccharides. Essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids guard the mucous membranes in the intestine.
